Morris Center for Lowcountry Heritage announces its lineup of field trips for the upcoming school year. All K-12 state standards-based programs are cross-disciplinary and include the following curriculums: social studies, English language arts and visual arts.
Dynamic and interactive, the programs include pre- and post-visit materials for teachers to use in the classroom. Field trips to the center last approximately two hours and include a tour of the current exhibitions and hands-on activities.
“As part of our mission is to educate the community, we are pleased to offer exciting field trips for elementary, middle and high school levels at a very affordable rate—and Title 1 Schools are free. Students who visit here walk away with knowledge they won’t forget and a special memory of a unique day,” says Director of Exhibitions and Programs Kayleigh Vaughn.
