The Look! Forward Photography exhibit showcases the beauty and strength of children, teens and young adults who are living rich, full lives despite their disability or special healthcare need.
This year, thanks to the generosity of 39 South Carolina photographers, the exhibit featured 49 children, teens and adults. Family Connection developed the LOOK! project in response to often heard comments from the families we serve. “I wish that the world would really see my child and not just their disability!”
Family Connection has a long history of serving families of children with disabilities and special healthcare needs. In 2015, we became the Parent Training and Information Center for South Carolina. There is a Center in every state to provide information and training to parents of those with disabilities, ages birth through 26.
The Morris Center is excited to have this exhibit in the Lowcountry. On February 2, the Morris Center will host a celebration in honor of the exhibit. Click here to RSVP.
