Opened in 1850, Magnolia Cemetery is one of the oldest public cemeteries in South Carolina. Dr. Kyle Sinisi will discuss the significance of the Civil War on the historic burial site.

Kyle S. Sinisi, Ph.D. is a Professor of History at The Citadel. He teaches courses concentrating on the Civil War, World War II, U.S. military history, and the history of weaponry. He is a two-time recipient of the James A. Grimsley Award, The Citadel’s annual award for excellence in undergraduate teaching.

This program is onsite at the Morris Center. To ensure the safety of all our visitors and staff, please preregister for this limited capacity event. The event will also be available virtually through Facebook Live.
